Founder, owner and CEO, Robert Tocci, established the company in 1988 to provide technical support to local school districts in Northern California and remains actively involved in the technical designs and business operations of the company today. With incredible year after year growth, he’s grown the business into 34 million dollar company with more than 125 employees providing technology solutions to varied industries headquartered throughout California.

Mr. Tocci is a forward thinker and innovator. His focus has always been on the customer and bringing in technologies that will support the customer’s technical and business objectives. A pioneer in the Voice over IP market, AMS.NET recognized the benefits of utilizing an existing data network for voice and other applications for improved functionality and reduced costs. AMS.NET deployed its’ first IP phone at Menlo College in December of 1999 and since then has implemented more than 50,000 IP phones to businesses, local government, K-12 and higher education.

As a part of our turn-key solution, prior to implementation, AMS.NET can provide you with complete structured wiring resources and eliminate the associated coordination and union tasks. Our professional certified structured wiring crew can accommodate minor additions or entire site wiring jobs.

At project completion, AMS offers a host of maintenance agreements and support packs tailored to meet your needs. The LANmate Maintenance Agreements offer high level support of your Data Infrastructure, Server, IP Telephony, Wireless, and Video Investments. Our agreements include remote and on-site troubleshooting, repair and replacement of failed components and access to a fully stocked warehouse of loaner devices to minimize down-time. AMS.NET also offers professional services to ensure your network is running at optimum levels. The AMS.NET Technical Assistant Center (TAC) can supplement your staff capabilities or to free up resources for other activities.

Along with our Cisco Gold status, we are a certified California CMAS vendor and have significant expertise with the E-Rate process.
