Support & Maintenance

Supplement IT Staff, maintain network and minimize downtime!

In today’s uncertain economy, businesses, educators and governments alike are facing challenges of supporting and maintaining the network and applications with shrinking budgets and minimal IT staff. After deployment, AMS.NET provides a 30 day workmanship warranty on installation services. To continue coverage after the 30 day warranty period expires, AMS.NET offers Standard LANmate Agreements, Enhanced LANmate Options, Guaranteed Response Plans, Technical Support Packs (TSPs) and our Managed, Monthly Monitoring Service (MMM). Whether you need full 24x7 support or your in-house IT staff need assistance with a particular technology, our dedicated Support Contract Specialist will work with you to determine your organizations requirements and then design a support and maintenance solution for you.

Standard LANmate Agreements

Standard LANmate Agreements cover your Data Infrastructure, Server, Unified Communications, Wireless and Video Investments. Two versions are available including 8x5 and 24x7 to ensure your network is up and running around the clock.

AMS.NET understands the critical nature of network problems and equipment failure and a LANmate agreement will provide a guaranteed response time to address your issues. All agreements also include remote and on-site troubleshooting and repair and replacement of failed components. We maintain a fully stocked warehouse which allows us to provide you with same day replacement if necessary instead of waiting the typical manufacturer hardware repair and replacement times.

A LANmate Agreement warranties the entire solution! Regardless of the cause, AMS.NET technical engineers will diagnose and resolve the issue. We’ll coordinate with the manufacturer and even troubleshoot circuits and cabling issues. As your company grows and you add new applications and equipment, your LANmate Agreement will cover those new AMS.NET hardware purchases at no additional charge.

Enhanced LANmate Options:

Whether you need to supplement your IT staff with managed services or you are looking for specialized coverage, AMS.NET offers Enhanced LANmate Options to add onto your Standard LANmate plan. The Enhanced LANmate Options enhance the standard agreements by providing services such as unlimited moves, adds and changes, extended coverage, managed services or specialized services for surveillance and paging systems.

  • + MAC- Unlimited moves, adds, changes for phones and voicemail. Unlimited password resets.
  • + Gold Managed Services- Routine remote network system management service to ensure system stability and verify daily operations
  • + Security- Unlimited Port openings, unlimited IP translations, unlimited updates for PIX, MARS and ASA
  • + Additional Hours- Coverage for Eastern Standard Time and/or 3 additional hours of coverage for local Pacific Standard Time customer
  • + Valcom- Hardware warranty, Valcom system support and troubleshooting (onsite and remote)
  • + Surveillance- Onsite and remote troubleshooting of your surveillance system, warranty and support for your DVR Master Server, Recorders and Encoders
  • + Pro-Active Network Alert- Pro-Active network support services to ensure system stability. Alerts to AMS.NET TAC department when a network issue arises.

Guaranteed Response Plan

When you need to have backup technical assistance available on a limited basis, our Guaranteed Response Plans can provide you with certified and experienced technical experts. These plans offer guaranteed response time during normal business hours. Pre-scheduled after-business hour technical support is available at a higher rate. Available in blocks of up to 10, 20, 30 or 40 hours.

Technical Support Packs (TSPs)

While we implement a technology solution based on your specific needs; there are cases after the install where technical expertise is necessary. AMS.NET provides professional services based on your support needs. Whether you need to supplement the capabilities of your staff or you need to free up resources for other projects, we have a local technical crew available. Benefit from an IT staff without the added investment.

Technical Support Packs compliment the AMS.NET LANmate Agreement by providing technical expertise for your non-emergency projects. Several TSPs are available in blocks from $500 to $8,000 to accommodate the amount of support needed. Commit to larger support packs for discounted rates and save up to 20%!

Managed, Monthly, Monitoring Service (MMM)

AMS.NET's MMM Service provides proactive management and monitoring of your network infrastructure to minimize loss. Managed monitoring services support your IT organization large or small by automating the monitoring of specified devices within your ntework infrastructure. The MMM Service provides a monthly managed monitoring service to monitor network events, traffic and the overall condition of the network. If the network performance degrades, alerts and notifications allow IT to fix the problems before there is any impact on a user or the organization.


AMS.NET offers Support and Maintenance options as a part of our turnkey solution. Plans are designed to work with each other, with the manufacturer’s warranty and are customizable based on your particular requirements. Our LANmate Agreements provide guaranteed response times and our stocked warehouse allows us to provide you with loaner hardware to get your system up and running as quickly as possible.
