Job Summary

We currently have an Account Manager opportunity available for an experienced Commercial Sales Professional in the East Bay Area. Qualified applicants should possess strong relationships with Commercial/SMB companies and feel confident that these relationships will transition to AMS.NET.  This individual needs to be a strong prospector having skills in developing new relationships with customers, and the ability to understand client business issues and needs. Individuals should have a minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the information technology market, ideally selling Cisco advanced technology solutions. Other OEM sales experience is also beneficial. 

This individual must have a successful sales track record managing accounts in a growing business environment. Candidates must be aggressive self-starters with ability to build executive relationships, communicate OEM product knowledge, and close deals. We are looking for a professional who has experience in engaging resources to drive sales and produce immediate results.  critical skills necessary are account planning with an extended team, calling at all levels within the customer’s organization, and managing partner relationships. 

Job requirements

  • Meet sales quota as outlined in commission structure
  • Manage individual sales team & resources
  • Cultivate new customers
  • Maintain existing customer base
  • Grow business in focused territory & support key accounts
  • Expand and maintain business relations with cisco & other key partnerships
  • Update and maintain ebs opportunities in order close every proposal in the field
  • Support marketing efforts and initiatives
  • Maintain up-to-date customer information in ebs database
  • Maintain all tracking tools such as territory & e-rate spreadsheets
