Public Sector Account Manager

Location - Central Valley

Job Summary

Responsible for account development and management of multiple accounts within the Public Sector Market.

Responsibilities include customer satisfaction, and overall accountability for business growth within account base, as well as strong skills in prospecting, replacing an incumbent, and protecting your account base. Must posses high abilities in sales presentations, short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunity management, and be skilled and have success in building relationships within all layers of an account. Strong technical knowledge and the ability to understand and leverage the client’s business needs are key to this position. 

We are looking for an aggressive self-starter with ability to build relationships, articulate our “value” as a solution provider, and close deals.

Job requirements

  • Meet sales quota as outlined in commission structure
  • Manage individual sales team & resources
  • Cultivate new customers
  • Maintain existing customer base
  • Grow business in focused territory & support key accounts
  • Expand and maintain business relations with cisco & other key partnerships
  • Update and maintain ebs opportunities in order close every proposal in the field
  • Support marketing efforts and initiatives
  • Maintain up-to-date customer information in ebs database
  • Maintain all AMS.NET tracking tools such as territory & E-rate spreadsheets
