Senior Sales Engineers are responsible for researching new products, designing overall solutions, verifying design solutions, and communicating with the entire sales team on new products.
The Senior Sales Engineers role is to provide support to the entire sales team in the following ways:
- Update the sales team on new products and services
- Use the Solution Center to provide customer demos and trainings
- Attend customer meetings to assist Account Managers with presentations, technical white boarding/reviews
- Learn new products and services
- Verify correct parts for proposed solutions
- Assist with the technical write-ups for executive summaries in bids
Additional duties will include working with marketing on the following projects:
- Attending and providing assistance with setup/breakdown and customer demonstrations at company tradeshows
- Setting up and speaking at customer webinars
- Assist in the design of the presentations
- Build and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with manufacturers
